For the two-part Cyclepark designed for 76 mm diameter posts. If your model or post differs, send us a photograph for fitting advice.

Check the model and post

  1. These instructions cover the two-part Cyclepark shown in the supplied installation sheet, designed to fit a 76 mm diameter post. Confirm that the model and mounting arrangement supplied are suitable for your post.
  2. Position the two identical loop halves on either side of the post, aligned parallel to the pavement so they do not obstruct pedestrians.

Assemble at ground level

  1. Bring the two halves together so the projecting bosses fit into the corresponding recessed bosses.
  2. Insert the bolts and washers through the recesses in the front surfaces. Locate each bolt thread into the opposite loop and tighten lightly to hold the assembly together. These stages can be completed at ground level.

Position and secure

  1. Carefully slide the assembly up the post, protecting the post surface finish.
  2. Position the centre line approximately 600 mm above ground level, as shown in the supplied sheet, so the hub and wheels of a bicycle can be locked to the unit.
  3. Use the supplied tool to tighten each bolt progressively, keeping the corners evenly drawn onto the post. Finally tighten each accessible bolt in turn and check that the unit is securely fixed.

Apply branding

  1. Apply supplied stickers over the laser-printed panel where required. Bespoke sticker designs and colour options can be discussed with Smartstreets.
